That is my impression too. I'm not sure whether it is the extra power or PDK (I'm used to manual cars) but if you put your foot down when overtaking the acceleration is simply staggering. In terms of all round effortless performance combined with everyday practicality it is hard to think of anything more capable. The funny thing is though I said exactly the same about the 996T when it first came out!
