Do you know what the dB level will be on a GT3 with the exhaust on and off? Did Guildford give you any idea?

PCGB dont recommend it due to noise and warranty issues.

Don't know what the db levels are for on/off...but "off" mode is standard GT3 noise level (can't tell the difference between the original exhaust) and "on" is loud!

As for warranty, Porsche says that because they make this product, and fit it themselves, the warranty is not affected at all......I also have this in writting via e-mail from them.
As this product is made by Porsche, I don't think PCGB will have issues with it!

I hope you are right as I want it too, but its not what I heard from PCGB.

Particularly in relation to track days.

In theory a sports exhaust will pass a 105db limit in quiet mode but puts out 113-115db in loud mode .having it tested by GRRC on Saterday so will let you know.
I guess 98db days are a no go for us rear engined guys

Some of us have rear engined cars cars that although maligned by many as being too quiet, allow serious hoonage without alerting the natives.

On the Le Mans run you should go via rouen just for the tunnel!

....i have a sports exhaust on my 996 C2 and did enjoy the blat through the tunnel in Rouen last year sounds kind of shrilling in 2nd at 5k+ rpm. A couple of boxsers in our convoy had their hoods down and said that as i approched them the noise became louder and louder and left them with a little ringing in the ears!
