Boxster 50th Anniversary 550 Spyder
Discussion
Where did you manage to see both derivatives? I have ordered mine with the grey leather, having seen both do you think it was the wise choice. I think the cocoa was more suited to the US.
What did you think of the wheels? Due to take delivery this week, with a bit of luck.
Does anyone know if the 550 is being produced in Germany or Finland? Any additional comments or thoughts would be greatly appreciated-
Regards Paul.

Reading OPC had the first cocoa one in and I went over to see it the weekend before launch at the begining of the month, it was a customer car and has now been delivered, IMO it looked stunning and after seeing it I actually specced the cocoa. East London OPC had a grey one with plain wheels about the same time. I honestly think that the combination of the seal grey wheels and cocoa works really well when you see it in the flesh. The wheels look good on there own though. Oh and its being made in Finland then goes to Stuttgart (it might actually be finished there)then on to UK. If you email me through my profile I'll send you some good hi res phots of the brown interior, but I can't attach them to a PH email.
Just taken delivery of Boxster 550. Nice car but not all that different to my last Boxster S which ran faultlessly for 3 years and 40,000 miles and then retained 70% of its value when I sold it. Would have been nice if the Anniversary was more like my old 944 Turbo Silver Rose which was much more competition orientated and round a racetrack would certainly devour both of my Boxsters - I had the Silver Rose for 12 years before it finally became too expensive to run as a daily driver.
