Silver 996 cab with green interior?

What are your thoughts on this combo? I really like it but I understand it's not popular? Would this colour combo have a bad effect on the resale value?

Any feedback would be appreciated. I’m looking at picking this car up soon!

Weeeeell, if it's the one I'm thinking of it's been for sale for ages - that might tell you something ?

I saw a Boxster in this combo last weekend. It's certainly a very individual choice

Having said that as I was commenting on the fact that it was so unusual it got sold as someone wanted something that little bit out of the ordinary.

It could take oyu a little longer to sell on, but have what you want.

I have two cars confused There was a silver 996 cab with a deep green interior at Meridien (iirc) that was fine, I was thinking of the one at BS Motorsport though, which is neither a cabriolet, nor a 996 (D'OH)

Margo, the car you are thinking of (at BS Motorsport) is a 993C4S. Ian Dorrian on these forums was going to buy it, but wimped out because of the green interior.

I have actually seen the car and it looks better in the flesh. The interior has black bits in as well, which helps offset the green.

I quite like the colour scheme, but resale will be more tricky, as you have identified.

Cheers

Thanks for the speedy replies. I'm up for this car in every way. I've asked a few of my friends what they think and they said no way!

As it has the full leather Inc dash etc it doesn't look tacky, plus it has the full aluminium pack with some carbon too.

Driss,
A mate of mine has a Boxster 2.7 in silver with full green leather. I like it. Very individual. Full leather is important if you are doing the green interior. I bet you love it.

Me too, it's not quite as billious in the flesh, but if it were my money there's always another car out there...
