Sorry if this is boring but !

My local OPC is Stratstone of Wilmslow. From what I've read on this forum I should perhaps be considering using an independent (IPC ?) to service my 996 C4 (1999).

I live near Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Can anyone recommend a good independent Porsche specialist that I could use ?

Thanks,

Will

I have used Stratstone in the past and have no complaints except the price. Used ninemiester recently and again have no complaints except the boss is not as pretty as the receptionist at Stratstone. Actually the big advantage is you can talk to the guy whos fixing your car at ninemiester which is nice.

Thanks for the recommendations.

I thought that the "Ninemiester" only played with air cooled toys .

Hartech seem to be well organised from what I've read on there web site.

Went to my local OPC today re new wheels and was not impressed .

Maybe I've been spoiled by the professionalism of our local BMW dealership who know how to look after customers. I'm new to Porsche what level of service should I expect from an OPC ?

Cheeky blighter!

Just done an engine in a Boxster for a customer from London, got our first 996 supercharger conversion nearly finished, remapped our Chameleon 996 3.4 to over 310 @ tyres on Friday, have a blown 968 awaiting a bonnet mod, just finishing a 996 C4 Cab front end/respray, got the floor out of a 2.7 Boxster putting right someone else's cock up.......

Got you ! I knew that comment was due a reply.

I'll give you a call nearer the time it's due a service.
I had intended to use the OPC and take out a Porsche warranty ?

At the moment I still have a warranty from the supplying independent.

Thanks for the reply ninemiester !
