Can you buy new dust seals and the bridge bolt from a dealer or independent ?
Also , has anyone had a set of calipers repainted ok ?

I'd be interested in this info as well, as I'm thinking about putting a pair of 996 calipers on the front of my 964...

BG Developments in Northampton refurbed some APs for me, they should do brembo stuff (Porsche). Google their website, it is something obvious like bgdevelopments.co.uk

9M does a caliper painting service, sure he could arrange refurb as well.

Remember that cost of GT3 six pots is only about 300GBP a caliper NEW

Could I be really nosey, and ask what sorta cost it was to refurb the AP's ?

Also is that a dealer price on the 6 pots ?

Cheers

Porsche sells a repair kit. I can give you the part numbers if I know the model and front or rear.

If the bridge bolt is the pin you remove to replace the pads then there is also a repair kit that has it.

You can also try someone who works on Brembo brakes. Jeff

Wasn't a lot to refurb (not paint) AP calipers for a Lotus Carlton x4... about 400 quid inc VAT I think. This was new pistons, seals, cleaned etc.

Re 6 pots, may be dealer price; price my contact can get them at. You will too if you beg hard enough etc. They are surprisingly reasonable.
