Fabspeed Muffler Bypass
Discussion
Have seen the above on Fabspeed site. (www.fabspeed.com).They apparently save 35lbs weight and offer some BHP increase for the 993TT.
My questions are :
A Has anyone fitted these and with what opinion?
B As my car is a factory upgrade, it theoretically has some exhaust mods which I cannot describe. Would it be worth my while fitting them?

Have a look at www.fvd.de. The picture looks almost identical. :*) But fabspeeds are described as stainless steel while fvd's are chrome plated?
Dave,
I got the FVD muffler bypass fitted a couple of weeks ago. Very nice bit of kit. Good build quality and a nice sound. I got it from a company in England for a very reasonable £260 incl. VAT and delivery. It is a easy DIY fit also. You are welcome to hear it any time you are down my way (I live in Perth)
cheers

See www.powermarques.co.uk
Their price is currently £316; it's not clear to me if VAT is included. The FVD web site lists them for €295 plus 16% German VAT so that's €342. At 1.5€ to the £ that's £228. Shipping is perhaps £10 ??

Ronnie,
Many thanks - with that tip I found them on the web at www.powermarques.co.uk, based in Lincolnshire. The website's not specific about these items but it does refer to stainless steel exhaust systems, so it's good enough for email queries if anyone's interested. I must find out more!
phelix beat me to it with better info!
