Never found any problem on the forums, but then it's difficult to take it all too seriously isn't it?
That's precisely the problem Clubsport, some people DO take it seriously......
My goodness, one guy even left for a while coz the word 'pikey' was mentioned -as if that would happen on PH!!!!

Helen I'm sorry to find you knocking the PCGB site after all you certainly used it enough to good effect for a long period of time, infact you were probably the most prolific "poster" on the site for a long while!I know the site is a little slow compared to Pistonheads, but it's still friendly & informative. Then again it's a womens perogative (yes I know my spelling is crap) to change their mind, like changing your new car order from a GT3 to Cayenne S..says something !!
Anyway I'm certainly not knocking you, their loss is Piston heads gain, as you already know it is a great site, I am sure all will enjoy your input.

I'm following events.
I'm always keen to expand obviously, but the Porsche forum here is working nicely and I need to be careful about how to grow it.
The Cayenne leaves me with a bit of a dilemma in that I like the balance of the current forum and the emphasis on performance cars rather than the Porsche brand as such.
I shall ponder things for a while. Lots of loyal, enthusiastic PHers who I don't want to upset by altering the balance/composure too much as things grow.
Does that make any sense to anyone but me?

Makes sence to me Ted (creep creep). The PCGB forums split into models is to say the least peacful

For what it`s worth I don`t think separating the K-N from the rest of the Porsche forum would be a good idea at all. It would make the whole P/head site too fragmented. After all why leave it at that, why not have a 964 forum, a 993 forum, a 996 forum, 3.2, 944, 968, etc, etc. Hey hang on a minute, doesn`t some one else do that !
As it is you can pick and chose the threads that interest you. There are a lot of topics which interest all the models. I believe someone was asking about the various dealers out there a little while ago, that generated constructive comments from a wide range of model owners !!
Keep things the way they are Ted. If people want to post a model specific topic just make sure they mention the model in the Topic heading.
This particular thread is a perfect example, if you`ve no interest in the K-N then you would be something of a numb-skull to find yourself reading this posting !!
The only thing I would like to see is Ted awarding special stars to regular postees. That way we could all be like Melv and get 5 stars for effort !!Actually I don`t know if we could given he is milk monitor. Can I put my name down to be monitor next week Ted.

I'm 'Rico' over there too
I too would advocate leaving the Porsche section as it is. There simply aren't enough of us to split it into model groups. We do all have different viewpoints especially now that the marque is diversifying and I like to read all of them.
The good thing with PH is that we are free to say what we want (within reason) and there are very few instances where moderation is needed, and also very few 'flame wars'. We are all pretty thick skinned here and often slag eachother off mercilessly, but it works very well, so I say leave it as it is and free merkins for all
