Just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

When my 01 Boxster S is cold, accelerating to about 3k rpm there are several 'hesitations' with the power delivery, eg 2,400rpm there will be a momentary 'flat spot'. Once warmed up the car is fine.

Don't know exactly what's up here, but you will need to get it looked at.
On my old M3 I had the same problem. We ended up replacing the distributor cap, rotor arm and then the fault turned out to be the HT leads.
It could also be a fuel supply problem, eg fuel pump, or fuel pressure regulator. It could be the engine management as well......
Oh I don't know......go to the OPC/Porsche specialist.

Cheers,
Its always worrying when somethings not right more because how much its going to sting the pockets. I have spoken to Northways and they said to bring it in and they will plug into their magic machine!
