I recently upgraded my discs to 330mm on the front. These were fitted along with some new Ferodo pads. Since fitting, I have an awful squeaking from the front brakes. It's only when coming to a standstill rather than when braking at speed.
I was advised by the fitting garage that the front calipers were sticking, so sent them off to be reconditioned. There was no squeak before having the discs and pads changed. I have just had them refitted, but the squeak is still there and seems worse. I haven't had issue with squeak with previous pad changes or caliper reconditioning. It's a noise that I just can't live with. Any ideas what could be the problem and how to fix it?

Is your thinking that the pads are moving or vibrating and need securing? I was thinking along the lines of some high temp silicon on the back of the pads. I have read of chamfering the edges of the pads as well.It's just odd as I have never had an issue with the Ferodo pads before. The calipers have been reconditioned with new seals and one new piston, so can't be that. The discs are Brummies, so of good quality, so can't be that. Got to be the pads hasn't it?
I have the same, I have CL RC6's with 360 grooved discs, I didn't have a squeal problem with Ferodo CP2500's. I have tried shims in the past with limited success and I have tried copper ease as well but the noise is the pad moving as it grips and releases and grips again on the disc so I doubt it will help much. You may find a good heat cycle deals with it, get braking....

I've got ds2500 pads (around 8kmiles on) and recently fitted the 330mm discs. No squeaking here but if I remember back to when I fitted the pads.. They took a good 800miles before the squeaking calmed down. They did it in my old 205 as well.
Get some heat cycles through them and give it some miles before trying anything else would be my suggestion.

Update. Well, I fitted some shims which seemed to help for a while. I've recently been using the car a lot more and the squeal is back and getting worse. It just ruins the driving experience. Thinking of trying the old set of Ferodos or getting rid of the 330mm discs and going for standard.

It's essentially pad vibration which resonates through the caliper and is often heard on cars with big brakes,,
I'd use a few wheel nuts to tighten disc to hub then using feeler gauges check the caliper is square to the disc as that pad is not making even contact with the disc,
I've recently fitted 324 mm discs and Brembo Calipers to my Chimaera, exactly the same problem including uneven wear on one disc,,
Swapped pads around after a few hundred miles of use and applied lots of copper slip to the caliper areas where the metal back plate on the pad is likely to come into contact with the caliper,
Other than every now and then mines quietened down.
I noticed with my discs that one pad grabs the disc from closer to the hub, that pad exhibits the same wear pattern as your pic shows,, I've bedded them in and done around 1000 miles now and the pad is now working as it should and the outside edge of the disc is now wearing as one would expect.
I've purchased some modern brake grease, ( better than copper slip) but mine are quiet so I'll leave them until the copper slip fails.
The sound your hearing is resonance as bigger pads tend to vibrate within the caliper on light braking applications so nothing not heard on Porsches etc after new pads have been fitted,
The wear pattern is not good, determine why the pads not square to the disc as that's not helping matters.
This stuff comes with 4 pieces of stick on padding/shims that you can use on the back of the pad to help the resonation some more,
Havnt used it yet and you may well find it settles down after more miles as mine have,,
I'd go find a quiet/private road and go do some serious brake tests from high speed but you'll need to do lots of it until you get that pad gripping properly, you may also experience locking up on the o/s front wheel as the left brake won't be working so well, the brakes will probably feel unbalanced until you get that pad working as it should!

Sorry I've just realised its your o/s caliper that's showing lack of wear,, so that should be the weaker brake.
Because our cars are so light these big brakes barely do anything most the time so will take many miles to bed in and score the discs, if your using a mis matched set of discs /pads I'd expect it to take many miles to settle down but it will eventually,
For the price of a new set of pads I'd probably just re new them and start the process again.
