Hi Guys,

The radio pod in my ‘01 Tuscan has suffered a bit of damage in the past (Looks like the headunit catching on the side and scuffing / tearing the leather).
So, I was thinking of having a go at re-trimming this myself, but the first question I have is – where can I get the leather / vinyl (and in a good colour match)?

Does anyone know the colour name of leather this is (the cream colour):

Would someone like D & C Trim be able to supply maybe an A3 sized piece of colour matched leather for me to attempt this myself?
Has anyone had any experiences of similar in the past?

Cheers,
Malc

I had some door cards changed from cream to the green of the interior of my car.
Dave the trimmer did them to an exceptional match, so no real problems other than sun fade on the original that you are trying to match it to.

The original supplied vinyl comes from Segals in Manchester.

I had mine re trimmed a few years ago and bought the leather from Muirhedas. They were great at sending samples and colour charts which may help you.

Cannot really see the damage but have you considered having it just repaired? A guy local to me does a simply stunning job on leather repair which you would not know the difference.

Colour matching is going to be difficult as the colour will have changed over time. Best bet would be to find a local trimmer and see their range and find the closest match.

Or see if the original can be repaired.
