I just popped down to Halfrauds, managed to pick up some webbing like that in the end, so it has the cam lock instead of ratchet. It's not as tight but with the small bracket that held the old battery in, I managed to tighten that against the Optima to stop lateral movement, and the strap is stoping vertical movement so it seems pretty solid. I will take it for a spin later. By Jesus does the car start quick now!
