After a rebuild this summer , and now the engine is run in, the car is really demonstrating it has no traction at all.
Basically the back end is all over the place even on a flat smooth road with half throttle, This is not a gosh my car is powerful thread it has no traction.

In am in Sussex but Straight six is only 90 mins away , my question is who can really do four wheel alignment, corner weighting and then I guess a new set of tires I will add at the same time.

Who has had the car set up and where ?

Thanks

Speak to Woody at Tvr 101. Hes one of the best and is probably the closest to you.

Are you running adjustable shocks.

As for settings, I've used this to some success:

Front
-1.0 degrees camber (negative)
1.0mm (8minutes) toe in overall (divide by two for individual wheel toe)
Caster to max (~5 degrees) (adjusted via moving both shims to front (of car) on upper ball-joint, as opposed to one either side)

Rear:
-1.5 degrees camber (negative)
3.0mm (24minutes) toe in overall (divide by two for individual wheel toe)

On Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3's
Front 225/40/18 @ 22psi
Rear 245/40/18 @ 24psi

With Gaz Gold Pro damper, set to:
12 clicks from soft on Front
10 clicks from soft on Back

Neil Garner did mine ( when I had it )

He was in Alonso's engineering team at Renault in the championship years and they have Moslers and the like in there.

It was worth the trip down the M4 to see him.

The biggest issue is the steering arm is not sitting parallel with the lower suspension arm...

STR8SIX did the alingment on my Tuscan S

Have Goodyear AS 2's 255/35/18 all round at 26 psi. Sagaris steering arms fitted so bump steer has been eliminated.

Probably not the biggest issue with rear traction though?

What tyres have you got and how old are they?

Thank you for all the replies.
Rear tires are Falken and about 4 years old, they did sit in the cold garage for one year whilst I rebuilt the engine .
They probably are shot.
It really is quite impossible to drive and make progress right now

True, that will be down to rear tyre adhesion, tyre pressure and compliance in the shock set up to correspond with the road surface. ... but where the front wheels go the back will follow.

At least you'd hope so. Thankfully no longer an issue for me hehe

good morning, I also successfully put the caster at 5°, the only doubt is that it doesn't stress the attacks with the bushings, what do you think?
