Hi, I just sold my Griffith to Germany and it didn't take more than a few weeks until I picked up its successor in Dundee – a Tuscan Mk1, factory Red Rose. I drove it from Scotland all the way home to Sweden, to the Stockholm area. A nice little trip of 1000 miles +.

I've just started the registration process here and a few things must obviously be converted for Swedish use. Speedo with mph scale is not ok, it has to read in kph (km/h).

I found a few older posts here about speedo plates with kph scale and about a guy knowing some other guy who had the possibility to manufacture a batch or two of these since they hadn't been available as a genuine TVR part for some time. But these posts are several years old.

Does anybody know if I still could find one of these kph plates somewhere?

Appreciate all info I can get.

I vaguely remember the post you are talking about but if I'm remembering correctly it was a one-off. Have you tried searching across just the TVR forum for the word 'kph'? You can do that using the search facility.

MIght help.

Guys, I need a new speedo plate.

Mines got a few 'ripples' in it whilst removing from dash instrument stack trying to access speedo microswitch. If possible I'd like one in MPH.

Any European Tuscan owners got the original lying around in garage, having changed to kph plates?

Nick.

I have one but it is in silver rather than the original bronze colour.

Ian - - That's fantastic! My dash is all silver anodised too.

I'll send you a PM. we can discuss post/carriage and exchanging some beer tokens!

Anyone able to help with a kph speedo dial plate please ?
Alternatively does anyone know who made the original dials for TVR for the Tuscan ? I have tried various suppliers in this country and they do not seem to have done them so maybe someone in the EU ? Any information appreciated.
Many thanks.
