If a Tuscan stalls what's the best method to restart?

Why would it be any different than restarting any other car?

It usually stalls for a reason... driver error, poor set up, electrical issue etc.

Why is it stalling.

Its an intermittent electrical problem I believe. Got caught in very heavy rain. Occasionally stalls when idling. Can be difficult to restart without stalling again. Today has been fine. Had also occurred last year again after a drive in heavy rain.

How often do you use it, and is kept inside or outside?

Its garaged and is used at least once a week covering a minimum of 60 miles.

From your description it certainly sounds water related. I've been lucky not to have suffered too many electrical issues, but from reading these pages believe water can travel down into the back of the fuses in the drivers foot well. It will be worth checking for damp carpets around this area to narrow down whether this could be the case.

Yes, I agree with S6Boy about that - I'd also check connections that are going to get caught by spray / run off water including the battery area, under the bonnet scuttle panel where it dumps water out and around the fuel pump

I had an intermittent stalling issue always only a mile or two from home with a cold engine. A new fuel pump relay has solved it.

The issue has been diagnosed and rectified. The immobiliser was faulty causing the fuel to cut out. Drove the 40 minutes home and didn't breakdown, even once.

I'd check the fuel pump itself - they are pretty exposed to the elements, just sitting on the chassis leg, behind the rear passenger wheel.

Check the wiring (can corrode inside the wiring sheath all the way into the boot). Also check the terminals etc.
