So the car went for its MOT on friday and passed with no advisories :-)
Took a couple of weeks longer than planned but now I have a TVR to tear the tarmac up with over summer.
Will start a new thread when I do a proper restoration of the car.

Lucky there aren't lots of faults due to chewed cables

This is impressive to see that it is able to pass the MOT, good job.
Based on the seat runner state, this car would have been totally rotten if it was not a GRP body.
Have you at least renew the fuel lines?

I was surprised at how rusty some of the items was as it had been stored in a garage for 2 years. Most of the rust was only on the surface and a good wire brush sorted it out.

Obviously it didnt look that rusty when it went for a MOT :-)

Why did the factory upgrade the interior while dealing with the accident damage, is it a ver early car? Thanks

MikeE - Car was built with in the first 3 months of production, I beleive parts was 'borrowed' off my car while it was at TVR to repair others so as a thanks I got the interior changed (bits of dash, relocation of window switch and change of mirror switch) and the alloys off one of the disney cars (still have the original 16'' alloys as well)

Awesome. Just awesome! One of the 1st of the breed then.

I have just beautified mine. Gone through the chassis, suspension arms and bits with rust conversion and waxoil ( surprisingly good) Refurbed and ceramic coated the alloys (which cleared up a wheel vibration and slightly naughty speeds, now smooth as you like) and cleaned up and painted the exhausts from the cans back. Cleaned up and painted the wheel hubs. New rear screen. Tried moving the pedal box back to the rear setting but it seemed impossible. I needed another 5mm but was hard up against the bulk head. She looks very smart.

Wish i could find a more accurate touch up paint for the gregio titanio but can only get so close.
