I'm returning to Tuscan ownership after 13 years away (964 then 997T).
I'm interested in the conversion, but would worry about stress facture issues at the hinge mounting points.
Is there additional stiffening added to the bonnet when fitting?

Yes. Four-point fixing reinforcing plates. Had mine fitted for four years - no issues. Not a difficult job to do.

Any cutting to the bodywork required? No stress fractures noted on anyones car?

I could be tempted, but i'd hate to regret it if it means headaches down the line.

I would like to do the conversion, what is exactly needed? Is it possible to get a step-by step-list to do the conversion?

Try contacting Allan.

He's a good guy and always willing to help and advise.

He manufactures and fits the opening bonnet conversion parts and he started this thread.

You have nothing too loose.

Allan fitted a kit with solid supports to my Mk1 Tuscan, quite a few years ago now and no issues during my ownership.

When I bought a Mk2 in 2019 I bought a kit from Allan with gas struts and fitted myself following the detailed instructions provided. No issues since.

This is the best improvement you can do on a Tuscan (if you ever want to open the main bonnet) IMHO beer

No stress fractures at all, anywhere or any related paint or high speed flexing issues at all?
I'm really tempted, but........

No issues of any description. When down the bonnet is attached as it was when fixed so no difference in flexing.
