Hi JurgenIs yours a 2005 ?
When I wrote off my Mk1 Tuscan in 2009, my wife went on a search for a Tuscan Convertible and found two.
The one I bought was the 2006 in Bentley Sapphire Blue while the second was a 2005 in that wonderful orange.
Both were up for sale at a crazy low £24k.
It was about a month later that I found I was kicking myself for not buying both at that price.

Yes it's a 2005, there are only two orange full convertibles in existence. I think we've corresponded about it before and this is the one you saw, it was for sale in April 09 at Dream Machines for £24k, but when I was in a position to buy, it had moved on from there to Racing Green, I bought it for £26k. Perhaps I might be imagining it, but I seem to recall a Sagaris being available around that time in the mid to late £20s too. Oh what could have been Is yours a 2005 ?

A very good price (for the buyer), the seller had been trying to get significantly more in private sales previously.I wonder if the car only doing 3k miles in the last 10 years dented the value of that one, or if that’s truly where the market is now.
I am not sure the the later build engines are necessarily any better. I know of a very late T350 which recently just decided to lose all oil pressure, resulting in a £13k rebuild. It had pretty much managed to damage everything internally to some extent. It seems any Speed Six engine, whenever it was made, can give out at any time. I am sure the majority are OK as I am sure a load of irate owners will tell me, but I wouldn't buy one!

Improved materials in the last 2 years of production made a big difference.Gassing Station | Tuscan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
