Hi Nick (or anybody else that can help)
Could you please let me know where you have been able to purchase 'Castrol RS 10W60'.
The reason I ask is because the Halfords/ BP/Shell/Esso garages that I have looked have not stocked 'Castrol RS' in this grade
Thanks in advance
Russ

It would be interesting to know if anybody else is looking for Castrol RS - I'm trying to source a good supplier (the right money) at the momment

If I work this one out, it may be I need to order in bulk, then i would be very happy to supply other Tuscaneers on a non profit making basis

But in reply to your question Russ; I recenly bought a load from my dealer, they gave me a good price

We used to do all Castrol deliveries in Scotland and North England. An average week was about 125,000 ltrs. We would be lucky to see 50 ltrs of RS amongst this. Very few places take it, I suspect due to cost. If you have / have access to a business, I would suggest you 'phone Castrol direct and open an account. In our years of dealing with them I found them very pleasant and helpful, and would be surprised if they would not help you. After all, nobody can do you a better deal than the manufacturer !!

TMS is the only place I know that sell it in that grade, and cost are about the same as Mobil 1, but it uses a lot less so it actually works out cheapr

Hi, I regularly purchase 10w/60 Castrol RS for use in my Cosworths from Woodford Garage Motorsport in Totnes, Devon. Give Simon Lester a call on (01803) 863958, he's very helpful and always has this in stock. Last time I bought it was in December and paid £28.08 + the dreaded for 4L. Whether or not there's the possibilty of a trade/bulk purchase who knows ?

Hi 21,

I'd be interested in joining in if you can get a good deal on Castrol RS. I assume it'll fit ok. cos I don't have a Tuscan, excuse the trespassing.

Costco do the stuff, cheaper than Mobil 1 too, around £24 a tub IIRC...(you need to be a member of Costco mind you)

Thanks very much to you all for offering advise on where to purchase Castrol RS10W60.
With all these contacts I'm sure I will now be able to source some very soon.
First point of call will be: Woodford Garage Motorsport in Totness as I have family currently living in Newton Abbot so this will hopefully make purchase nice'n'simple.
Thanks again to you all.
