Have just arranged to get four new T1-S's from Selecta at Loughborough on 01509 218 648. Price quoted is £440 + VAT for 2 x 245/40/zr18 and 2 x 235/40/zr18 which seems pretty good to me. Fitting, valves, balancing etc comes to another £48 inc VAT. They also do a four wheel realignment service for £30. Am going up to get them done next weekend and will post an update then, unless anyone has already had experience of Selecta???

This is good current one...yup yup

There is a debate rambling on in the other place about tyres for Tusky's!!

What we need to know is what you're currently running on? and once you've got the new ones fitted; how the Toyos feel compared to your current shoes

As to price I have no idea, but i have to do the same thing soon and i was going to get a price from Black Circle

thanks, keep us up to date

you might want to check out www.mytyres.net their prices include vat but you will need to get them fitted and some garages don't like fitting them or have the tools to fit 18 inch,

Sounds like a good deal pricewise, at least £70 pounds a corner cheaper than my local dealer. It's worth a 100 mile drive to Loughborough. Hoewever I've been dissappointed with the Toyos performance compared to the previous Bridgestone SO2s. They have worn out in less than half the distance and they lose traction earlier too. Fine if you enjoy a little power-oversteer not so good when it's the fronts that lose grip on the bends (that the bridgestones would stay glued to). I went for Toyos as that is what the factory and the dealers recommend. I'm now looking for any other suggestions/ideas. Any one happy with SO3s? Or anything else.

Is it out of order to ask what 'the other place' is where there might be the Tuscan tyres issue under discussion?

I thought they were supposed to be 235/35/zr18 front and back?

If you're on 35s I think it is 225 and 255 front / back. Or the later S's came with 255/35 allround. Don't ask me why....

Cheers,

Andy.
