sun has been out a boit for the last couple of days and I wondered if I was the only one who misses a sun visor?

Anyone thought of any ways of rigging one up?

As someone said a couple of weeks ago...."What is a 'Sun'?"

Yes this can be a pain when the sun is low. But usually it's ok 'cos the windscreen is quite low anyway. I'm quite lucky 'cos I'm 6'2 so just sit up straight in the seat and then usually the windscreen surround covers the sun.

Don't know really what you can do about it though. Could try shutting your eyes?

Sorry to be of no help whatsoever.

This is definitely a pain in the arse especially when the sun's low. I've had to push bits of paper/card up between the screen and the roll bar in my Tamora!
I asked Danielle at the factory why there were no sun visors and she replied that "real british sports cars don't have them!" Not my words!
Cheers..... Andrew

I'm sure I've seen Tuscan owners mention that they have had visors specially made up and fitted. Not sure if they're off another and trimmed to suit, or completely new items.

Maybe try the tuscan list on egroups? Someone somewhere will know.

Sun in your eyes ? I was recommended to wear sunglasses or a baseball cap. The first works but the second doesn't - well not for me anyway.
My other car is a Smart. This has very neat, slim sunvisors, which utilise a screen in black with a myriad of tiny, pierced holes. Pull the screen down and adjust it vertically and you can see through it; gradually incline it and it blocks out more and more sunlight. I reckon a pair of these would fit on the screen rail - but they would need trimming or colour-coding to match the original trim. I have asked Mercedes Smart to quote for the components but am still waiting for their response. Will report as the idea progresses.
