It depends upon whether a vehicle is already on the production run - if a dealer has one coming through and hasn't been painted yet, provided you don't want Hydratrak or A/C for example then six weeks sounds fair, but from scratch and with the current hype on the Tamora and deposits going down for next spring - them probably three months plus
My Tuscan took 6 weeks from initial spec of colours, interior options, accessory, etc. including a trip to the factory during the 4th week.
From my experience spec'ing and buying new TVR's is to go direct to the factory, or give them a call to talk you through the various options.
Most dealers haven't a clue as to the creative personality each new TVR has (based on what the purchaser wants). There's so much that can be done to make your car unique and special to you...
