That Estoril Blue one at Hexham looks suspiciously similar to the one that was at Racing Green - the same car perhaps? It could also be the 'light blue' one photographed on the production line

I think it's possibly the one of the line, John Simpson (alias Daftlad alias TVR owner) had bought it from after it was completed in the Barn, but the price was increased and John withdrew from the purchase.
I believe I am correct in saying that was a Targa not a Convertible.

They look like Bishy's and 0-60's - but I thought I would point them out in case they aren't
Think you may have found one T4TVR appears on DVLA as March 2006, but the pic in 0-60's profile is of car reg PO55OFW Sept'05 ..TVRs old press car (or one of them)...both appear as multi colour...so I'm guessing two Cascade Indigo/Violets what do you think???
Also on the Factory PICs of V8GRF part complete black vert with what appears to be a body code of 1404 which would be correct for DEC '05 might be one of the one's without body code.

I nearly forgot PO55OFW is incorrectly registered as a PC and a not PLG, therefore has CO2 emmisions stated on the V5C. So he's paying £210 instead of £185.

I wouldn't go that far - if I ever go on Mastermind, the Life and Times of John Simpson will NOT be my specialist subject. smile

I would never be able to remember all the vehicles he has owned for starters! laugh

Just seen this on Ebay, not on the register yet either..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-TVR-TUSCAN-BLACK_W0QQit...

Standard non-S spec with nice black / red colour scheme. Noticed it also has the odd heater / lights control panel with the hazzard lights between the lights and fog light switch like mine. Most appear to have the hazzard button central on the panel.

The first one might be Big M...Dark Fantasy... although I can't make out reg... but I thought Big M's was TO55 CAN or similiar. I'll add just in case... What any better guess on the colour???

Second one M4 LTR is on the register, it was at Chatsworth and The North Yorks Ice Cream run.

I'm not sure which Laser Blue one this is http://media.photobucket.com/image/tuscan%20conver... It's the one from the Motor Show or MPH... Maybe the one at Racing Green...with seats changed...can't remember seeing one with TVR logos in the headrest ever!!! They often put Sparco seats in the show cars.

Editted to add...Just checked the Estoril Blue one at Hexham Horeseless...It's got TVR in the headrests so guess it's that one.

I think Big M's has got different colour alloys, so it looks like a different car.

Missed the silver one on a quick scan of the register because the DVLA web site says it was registered July 2006

No, this isn't Big M's car but one of the other cars that was at GP Masters. It was owned by a scottish couple and had the plate R6NA R at the time. Not sure of the colour but appeared to have a browny tint to it (could have been Chianti Starmist?).

The factory did make another one in Dark Fantasy after Big M's car. This became one of Castle's stock cars but don't know what happened to it afterwards.

Also, a couple of updates for the record on our car:

Build number is 1025
Interior is Scarlet, Black & Carbon leather
Mileage 18k at present
and it has Carbon Cans fitted

Another photo showing more of the interior

And another photo from GP Masters with the cars parked up before heading over to the circuit.

T4 TVR looks like it is reflex purple or something similar

as cascade violet (mine) is purple, blue and copper and cascade indigo is more like a darker version of cascade violet

Hi My name is Rona Rowe. I own R6 NAR. The colour is called Blackish red (yes really) tyres 235/255 15000 miles no rebuilds or clutches based in Ayrshire, south west Scotland. We were on of the cars (lead) at the GP Masters. Tried to update myself but do not have a clue how to.

Any plans for us all to meet up?

Hi Rona, thanks for the info..."Blackish Red" eh... never would have guessed that one...I'll question Gerbil about his lack of imgination next time I see him... hehe

There will probably be a few convertibles at Chatsworth, but thats quite a way from Ayrshire...I was up at Troon,Prestwick and Turnberry last August in mine...guess what I was doing ????
It was a great drive once I was past Carlisle...I did go the long way via Gatehouse of Fleet,Newton Stewart and Girvan, but you have to don't you...biggrin

PS Any chance of the last four digits of your VIN, then I can place it in build order and maintain a track of the car, just in case you were foolish enough to sell it (joke).

Hi,

I have just noticed that the link in the first post went to Rev 1 of my Tuscan Convertible Cabin Controls Handbook. I have corrected that now (I think) so if anyone had downloaded Rev 1 and wants Rev 3 then please try the link again.

Please let me know if there are any problems (or comments)

Regards
Phil Tudhope
