Thanks, two good spots there, I'll add them. I'm changing the register so the photos are [thumbs] which means you can now click on them and get a larger image.

Good idea.

There seem to be quite a few on Autotrader and in the PH classifieds at the moment btw.

Hi,

Just to let you know for your register the Blue Tuscan convertible you list, reg S55 GCL I'm sure was at Racing Green last week when I was there. If it is the same one, I was taken out in it and is owned by the owner of Racing Green.

Apparently had a lot of work and bits added to it over the years.

I was looking at the possiblity of getting a Tuscan 2 Convertible made to my spec by Racing Green from the few cars left unfinished they bought from the factory.

However I would be looking in the region of £55-60k. It would have the FFF engine. Its a little out of my price range though so I'll wait and let someone else take the initial hit on it!

Keith,

I think TVR Tuscan's car is duplicated - the second entry further down the page needs to be deleted.

Thanks, I've sorted it now...It was my fault..The register was cocked up in August and I had to restore a part of it from an old backup...between taking the backup TVR Tuscan must have supplied the extra info to put the entry in by build number and I never noticed.

Done, but would appreciate your build number then there's a fixed record of you car.

Thanks for updating.
I keep forgetting the build number.
I only spend a few days a month in England but will try not to forget in May.
Tony.

Hi,

As I updated details for my car in the register, I noticed that an entry further up the page (spotted "somewhere in 2005??") might be my car as well.

As far as I can tell the photo was taken at the old location of London TVR near King's Cross, which is where I bought mine. The only thing I'm not sure about is when the photo was taken, as my car was registered in April 2006.

The reason why I think that's a 2005 built car is because the headlight surrounds are black rather than body colour. Not sure if its yours , I thought yours was 2006 built aswell as registered. The build number would confirm it.

Hi Keith, my build number is 1343.

By the way, the Girls Aloud video at the top of the register does not involve press cars. London TVR supplied three cars to the film crew at the time: a Tuscan, a Tamora and a Lotus Elise. The Tuscan was a demonstrator at the time, which I later bought. If you follow this link ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy3SV2fvoG8) you will find the original video in higher resolution.

In that case I can add something to the history of my Convertible: it also appeared in the American Car Magazine ' 0-60' in the Autumn issue (or Fall as they call it) of 2008, in an article about London Tunnel Runs. The article was called "Bring the Noise" and the photo can be found via this link.

The journalist drove a Lancia Delta Integrale, but the photographer soon asked me for a lift. A nice quote from the article: "The TVRs sound amazing. Their fat exhausts bark and spit as unburned fuel explodes, sending shockwaves down the tunnel." biglaugh
