Nice thread revival.
I would like to think that by now many speed 6’s have proved they can do a decent mileage.
Agreed. It would be interesting to get this thread updated by higher milers and see where we are:I would like to think that by now many speed 6’s have proved they can do a decent mileage.

I've just updated mine to 81k - 2006 Tuscan convertible with no rebuild.
Like others, I'm not using mine as much now at about 5k per year.
But she's had yearly trips to Spain and Germany.
One low-loader recovery to the UK in 2012 when the engine management computer died.
I wrote off my first Tuscan, a 2000 with 89k and two rebuilds (35k and 70k).

Here's a high miler does anyone know the car? https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...
Doesn't seem like high mileage to me, especially with a Str8six rebuild 25k ago. No idea about torqueflight tvr but it seems they ought to know the car by now from the servicing so worth a call and see what other work has been done other than servicing.
Other than that it looks a very well presented car, although I can't work out what's going on with the 2 black Tuscans with different wheels? This could be the Retsina and heat but seems a strange way of presenting a car!
If all checks out it looks a good buy.

Its one car with the choice of wheels. I'm waiting for some pics of the chassis before flying out to view it looks very tidy from the pictures I've seen Other than that it looks a very well presented car, although I can't work out what's going on with the 2 black Tuscans with different wheels? Looks decent enough to me and a fair price. Looks like better value than the 2002 MK3 Chimaera 450 I was looking at with 98k miles that the seller wanted £18.5k for private sale.
Is there any duties to pay or issues with buying a car from Ireland?
Northern Ireland is part of the UK......only issue is getting thereIs there any duties to pay or issues with buying a car from Ireland?

That's incredibly cheap. We Buy Any Car value my 2003 4.0l Tuscan with 50k on the clock at £27,000Why wouldn't the owner pop over to the nearest branch and sell it to them?
Just been having a look at this 2002 Black Tuscan as mentioned above. Looks as though it has been knocking around for a couple of months since at least July. Always make you wonder a little bit. I know it is only 2 months but I am guessing a top example or cheap example would fly pretty quick?
