You must be an ignoramous. Have you ever heard of the Corvette ZO6 with 400hp? Viper? Did pretty good at LeMans and Sebring (according to the rumour mill).

Those remarks about US cars are shrill and childish.

Go back and play with your building blocks.

although to be fair to TVR in it's very first race (sebring 12 hours) the T440 did beat the Viper, but was behind the corvette, i have the rsults on my wall .. corvette 8th, TVR 20th, Viper 28th.
Admited that isn't the Tuscan, but its the closets we get on track.

No, those remarks are shallow and lighthearted in line with the general theme.

(enters the room) i cannot believe that anyone can slag off the looks of the tuscan, the fact that they have designed such a stunning and unique looking vehicle while keeping aerodynamics stictly in mind is a remarkable achievment itself. not to mention that the look of each new TVR is totally different from the previous models, TVR provide a range of cars that could siut anyone, unlike Porsche which turn churn out almost identical looking cars year afetr year.

I am afraid I will have to have the final say - Tuscan is just the best looking car EVER. Sorry but that's the way it is! End of discussion.

Hi boys. I am a Greek guy who has been dreaming of owning a Tuscan S for some time now.I have a few questions.

What is the average insurance cost?
What is the average service cost?
What are the little problems that I might be facing while owning one?
Do I get to through some dust on porkis in the motorway?
What production year is best to choose from? 2001 cars? 2002, 2003?
Is it true that some of the cars come with upgrades of stability management and battery conditioner?

what is a fair price to pay for a 2003 6-8,000 miles car?
what is the most tradeable colour on these cars?
Has any of you had an engine rebuild? What was the reason?

I hope some of you will try to help me here.

I own a Lhd boxster s at the moment but it feels like i am driving a donkey....

An intoxicating car to be sure, but if they're so damn good, why have they never won any serious competition events in the way their oft compared to 'rivals' at Modena and Stuttgart have ??

What on odd thing to say?

They weren't designed or built with a view to them being racing cars, that's what the Tuscan Racer is for wink.

A derivation of it in the form of the T440R was however competitive in the ALMS and LM24 series. However the factory didn't have deep enough pockets to make it truly competitive.
