Email sent to everyone that has requested it.

Below is what I got from TVR:

I hope you don't mind my direct approach to contacting you by email but I see that you have a website facility in place that has available for download some TVR related material.

I understand that this has been provided to assist TVR owners with on going maintenance etc and was presumably uploaded or made available in the absence of any ongoing official factory support after the factory closure some years ago. However, as the new custodians of TVR we are keen to ensure that all intellectual material is brought back within the domain of the new ownership for several reasons. These include the confirmation of our own archive resources and also to protect the brand, IP and registered trademarks from unauthorised or uncontrolled use. With this in mind I would respectfully request that you remove the current facility that enables TVR originated files or information to be accessed or downloaded and to remove the TVR logo / wording also.

We intend to provide our own factory / heritage resources online and your assistance with this would be much appreciated so please do contact me if you have any questions on the matter and I await to hear this request is acceptable to you. In the absence of your pages and should you wish to assist us, a brief text requesting visitors to contact heritage@tvr.co.uk for any support would be most helpful - thank you.

Best regards

Paul is a good bloke, have spoken with him couple of times ref my own heritage membership and he's has been helpful. It makes sense that now the brand is back, they want to reign in all of the material and try not to dilute the brand, it will bring a lot of confidence back IMO. I have material I have been asked not to distribute, but will probably be available at a later date in some kind of portal as you say. I need to have a word with him soon so I may ask about this.

Hi,

Sorry for my late reply but I would also be very happy to receive the Tuscan Wiring diagrams as I'm struggling with a Tuscan that I have now where the battery has been connected wrong way around while jumpstarting without original battery in it. Positve and negative swapped.

Any ideas what could be damaged besides the big 100A fuses? The alternator fuse is blown but the body fuse is till intact. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work apart from lights and horn...
Any ideas welcome.

Thanks! Erwin

Oh... dear...

the first item would be to check all of the fuses and if all of those are OK and nothing works then you could very well have a lot of very dead control units and ecus. They do not take kindly to a reverse polarity, the relay drivers are sensitive to this and will often pop when fed current backward.

When you say nothing works, thats ignition, doors boot immobiliser etc? Tell me everything!

I believe we may have spoken before about repair of control units?

Hi Rhys,

in case you see this, could you also send me the wiring diagrams? I am struggling with the heater ECU working most of the time, and then "freezing" in an indefinite state ( can be "off", or "full blast") for a day or so (disconnecting the ECU or the battery doen't help...it just recovers when it feels like it).

Thx!

PS: I already by-passed the infamous burning pin with an extra wire soldered on the ECU board - sorted most of the issues

The wiring diagrams don't show the internals of any ECU's
