Guys, Am very interested in upgrading my Chimaera 500 to a Tuscan - prob getting a second hand one. I am looking to do a bit of research, and would like to read the stuff in egroups - how do I go about doing this? Also, I would like the RR upgraded car: is it best to get this from a dealer or private? and what sort of price should I be looking to pay? thanks, Doug S779 SCA

To join the Tuscan egroups, go to the Yahoogroups.com page and do a search on Tuscan-Owners and then click on the subscribe button, you will be sent a questionaire which you fill in (a bit secretive you see! ) and then if you pass you are in!! As for cars and prices, well the Tuscan Red Rose is the same as any other TVR, there are benefits of going through a dealer such as warranty and building a good relationship but the price will probably be a bit cheaper going private. The thing to do is find the car you want, spec and colour schemes as welll as price and condition, and then go from there Good luck, and remember, not all Tuscan owners wear bobble hats!!! ================ Graham and Rosie

Does the questionnaire appear in your e-mail? I tried to subscribe about 3 months ago, and heard nothing. I will be buying a Tuscan in 2-3 weeks, and I wanted some lowdown - but this group appears to be too secretive!! Edited by nubbin on Thursday 5th April 10:39

Try again as you should be able to get in, maybe when you tried before it was when Egroups was taken over by YahooGroups and your message got lost By the way, I do not run the group, I just post there, seem to annoy a few of them, and personaly think it should be open to anyone - but I keep getting out voted on that one!! ================ Graham and Rosie

Yes it's a gift from God that only a few of us seem to be blessed with Try again and I'm sure you'll get in this time (won't he Mr Moderator/Dave?) BTW I (now) also believe that it should be an open forum. Mike Edited by MikeE on Thursday 5th April 14:19

Hi Nubbin, No sign of your registration on yahoogroups (nee egroups) - so try again by mailing; tuscan-owners-subscribe@yahoogroups.com As to making it an open group - in a recent poll 94.12% of those who expressed an opinion wanted it to remain closed. Rob (the mod)

Hi, Rob - thanks for that. I think I sent a (rather terse!) e-mail last night. I don't know what's happened, but I'll re-register with Yahoogroups.
