An MGF with *serious* power. Can't be a bad thing....but could you actually BUY one.......(i.e. would MG ACTUALLY sell it to you?)

Sounds good Ted but what in the hell is a ZT supposed to be - the article menitons them but what are they??

I think BMW were only after 2 things. 1. The rights to the Mini 2. Making a shed load of money from Land Rover I imagine they had to 'pretend' to show an interest in the rest of Rover for a time to get backing from Mr. Blair too.

It is widely accepted by cynics like myself that the F was kept low powered (the rather nice SuperSport version was never allowed to continue) as it would have competed with and eaten alive the higher specced Z3's.
