85K $ for Porsche's Mission E they say.

Curious to find out if it's true (was expecting it to be in a higher price class.) and what that amounts to in Euro's and Pounds.

"Porsche's Mission E pricing might give Tesla buyers pause
It will be priced 'like an entry-level Panamera' at around $85,000."

There will be one point, where electric cars should cheaper to produce. Just imagine how many different suppliers have to be managed just to produce an internal combustion engine and a gearbox?

Maybe the time is not there yet, but there will be definitely a break even soon.

Ha. RIP Tesla.

Porsche/VAG expertise with a nice interior. Most likely will put Tesla to shame , without all the fancy door rubbish. Obviously this excludes Autopilot which Tesla is still miles from any manufacturer, but even then , that relies on driver input

85k in the US is probably a 6-digit euro cat though. I actually hope it will be more expensive, as otherwise it will have cut price interior etc. was hoping for Panamera Turbo upwards type car, but that probably does not make financial sense in terms of volume vs profit per unit

RIP the Model S. Maybe.

I cant see Porsche bringing out a car to rival the Model3.

It’s an impressive price if it is very close to the concept car. I wonder what it will do to the Panamera?
