Get A TVR. Better than german ****e.
Really? I own a TVR and a BMW (328Ci). The BMW is nearly 2 years old now and has done 37000 miles without ANY problems at all. The TVR is 3 years old and has done 8000 miles, 1200 miles must have been on the round trip to the factory to have it sorted. German ****e? No, when you've owned and driven both, Patton, you'll know not to make such inane comments.

I had some problems, yeah, but the warrantly on my BMW was cast iron, and my local dealer is pretty damn good, if occasionally slightly ineffectual. 153000 miles now, so that speaks for itself.

Can I just point out, before you rip him apart Marshy, that you _are_ in that one percent mentioned by Patton. I also have to agree with him, _most_ of the inconsiderate drivers I come across are mercs and beemers. Sparks

.mark, you didn't mention Audi drivers. Are we alright then? As an aside, my "German ****e" is currently at 133000 miles and still goes like a train on all five. Sounds great, too.

Mr Patton, there is no need to extol the virtues of a TVR to me; I've owned and driven most models since 1980 and I have always driven them just as inconsiderately as I have my BMWs . Incidently, I used one TVR (a 280i) as a 'repmobile' for 3 years before it caught fire on the M11 one morning rush hour. Please don't call our BMWs '****e' (what DOES that mean anyway?) because I may no longer stop to assist fellow TVR owners when I see them broken down by the side of the road.
