Continuously Variable Transmission on a par with manual 'box say AA

I never did know if the A4 / A6 was front or rear wheel drive .. now I know, fancy that ...

Still that's quite a decent sounding transmission, but does it feel good to drive it?

A testament to the sophistication of front wheel drive set-ups these days!

The A8 is also front drive, except the quattros of course. The only time you notice is when you try to kick the back out on a damp roundabout and nothing happens.
