Well if Datsun and toyota can have a go at Le Mans with GT1 cars, what's wrong with VW having a bash at a supercar? Nowt. It'll make a good GT racer, too, and it'll be GTO legal as they'll make 100 per year.

So Audi make Lambos, VW will have their own supercar and Porsche have Carerra GT. The prancing donkey should be a touch concerned.

Its like the vx220, if it were anything other than a Vauxhall the roads would be full of 'em!....personally I think as VW own Audi it would make more business sense to call it an Audi and have done with it. VW won't get the glory but I imagine they would get more orders and more money in the bank.

Well when I first saw the car at the birmingham show a while back I thought it looked stunning and I still do, there's just something about it that draws me, not sure what it is - if I had the cash I might buy one - let's face it will turn heads - and who know's you should get porche type reliablity and Ferrari beating performance. I like it....
