New sort of warranty type thing
New service allows better budgeting

The catch is - the list of cars the scheme DOESN'T cover. Go to the MotorEasy site, click on 'Prices' and then 'Cars excluded'. You'll see that any remotely interesting car won't be covered - that includes TVRs, for several of you people who posted before me. Reckon that's how they'll make their money - covering bog standard boremobiles. I remember now that I got a mailshot about this some months ago - the list of exclusions didn't impress me then either.
TVR is wholly excluded from the scheme along with any other worthwhile vehicle that will travel from 0-60 in less than 10 seconds. Ideal for Nissan Micra users doing less than 6000 miles per year. (actually I'm probably wrong, it would be chealer to follow the Nissan dealer service schedule!) Be interested to see what would happen if they were inundated with enquiries from TVR owners.
Interesting one this.
Under £60 a month for my BMW 328i Sport.
That's £720 a year for 12,000 miles.
BMW want about £400 for InspII or £300 for InspI (bi-annual) or about £150 for an oil change (annual)
So about the same as running a BMW Approved Used Car Warranty and BMW dealer servicing.
So if nothing goes wrong they're on a winner. No doubt they have got LOTS of slippery lawyers (like me!) for refusing claims. If not they won't be in business very long, I reckon. Also it will monkey boys servicing the car, and you lose the value of a stamped up book with shiny BMW stamps in it - worth lots of $$ at selling time.
Mmmmmmm.
