Insignia's got everything - shampoo to shower gel.
Deoderant and after-shave, it's one all over smell.

Actually, it looks quite smart. But bring back the name "Cavalier" I say!
Or Ascona - They all need to end in A

Astra
Vectra
Corsa
Nova

Would that be the car or your attempt at a post?

The car doesnt look too bad at all and thats coming from an Audi + BMW owner. smile

However, it will be interesting on how the handling and/or interior measures up.

the cars are getting bigger as the safety regulations id imagine and the fact that people are fatter these days. i think its a joke though how the cars get bigger so companies have to introduce new models to replace there small cars.

Remember these? The last of the classic internal combustion engined,European General Motors 'Vauxhalls'. Made for two years before GM's collapse and subsequent buyout by TATA/Porsche/China Briliance.

Just seeing this static display suitable for wall mounting on your stable wall. Is enough to make us nostalgic for Gatso's,Congestion Charging and all the other things from 'The Golden Age Of Motoring'

Yup - however, I cant see that happening for much longer to be honest. Not with the increasing nanny state like conditions about car emissions etc that are being pushed from Europe. I guess cars will start a downard scale in terms of size/weight in an effort to reduce emissions while still trying to maintain some modicum of performance over the next few years.

Though I think they are going to be hard pushed to get any where near the outrageous limit of 120g/km by 2012!

I wish companies like vauxhall ford, peugeot etc would stop aiming to be 'premium'. And just focus on making a really nice/good car. If a car is good enough then people will buy it even if the badge isnt that desirable.

The thing is that peoples perceptions have changed. Even in a base car you need a whole load of gubbins that would have been laughed at years back. Just look at half the designs of cup holders ffs. In the old days you could chill your bks with a can of coke and everybody was happy biggrin

Close but no cigar, the grill lets the front end down maybe the eventual sports pack will do something about it.

The car has to be 25cm longer than its forerunner because of safety regs. and because people are getting fatter! What safety reg. change requires that increase in length? Astras pass the saferty regs.

The Insignia is less than 3" shorter than the Omega? A new model now required to slot between the Astra and Insignia?

Not bad lookin....lets hope it can match the mondeo for its ride/handling etc,i agree the mondeo is a nice car with the right kit on it, mostly the bigger wheels and the right colour, looks fab but a plain lower model with those small wheels doesent do it any favours...ford take note a big car needs big wheels!!!

If i was given this as a company car, i be quite happy. Looks good and Vauxhall seem to be getting better at making there cars go round bends so should drive well. All in all it looks to be big leap forward from the Vectra.

Weight loss already started at Mazda the new Six is lighter than the last one yet slightly bigger . gotta be the way to go , just wish pedestrian safety legislation (though obviously a good thing in itself) didn't make cars so lonnnnnngggg. I need a car this roomy with teenage kids but struggle for room in the garrage.

Looks good if it drives good too I wouldn't rule it out but suspect a Mazda6 would hold on to it's value better and be less ubiquitous for me

positives first, it does look better than the vectra, but is a real mishmash of styles and why do car companies have to have the front ends of cars lookin indentical, looks like an astra from the front.

The new Vauxhall insignia - see it a taxi rank near you soon.rolleyes

I actually really like the look of this Insignia.

The new Mondeo is quite rank in comparison.

Well done GM and the lads at Vauxhall (Millbrook) who developed this.

Amazingly a REP mobile that is actually desirable!

Holy Heck! Vauxhall bring out another car that I really rather like the look of! Has the world gone mad? Human sacrifice? Dogs and cats living together? Mass hysteria!
