The black paint has come off my boot badge - where can I get a new one or get it re-furbished?

Leven refurb badges, but as far as I'm aware, they need a group of people to make it worth their while. You might want to see how many other people are interested in having theirs done.

TVR Power were selling them a while ago.
Why not take it off,
Cover in nitromors paint stripper to remove all the black.
Clean with white spirit.
You will be left with a totally silver badge.
Spray with black hammerite 4 coats.
Carefully using a stanley blade peel the black paint from the letters.
Then spray some clear sealant over the badge.

Job done.
Costs very little.
Admittadley not as good as a new badge, but a new badge is around £60+postage if i remember corectly.
Why not give it a go and see what you think if it doesn't look good then get a new one!!
I did mine 3 years ago and it still looks fine.

You could get a plain cerbera badge and then no one would know its a S6.

I think the Leven refurb is definitely worth the money. Mine came back looking fantastic. I'd have liked the purple a little darker but that's just me being picky.

Excellent work. Refurbishing badges dries cars too. Who'd have thunk it? wink
