check your gearbox - NOW

I took my 2002 4.5 in for some exhaust work - only to find 1 missing bolt and 1 very loose bolt on the rear underside of the gearbox, this had caused the box to trap the exhaust pipes, thereby causing a rattling sound - hence my investigations,luckily the trapped pipe then meant that the gearbox couldn't come loose any further. Now it's all fixed, but on reflection I wouldn't have wanted to have been travelling toooooo fast if the box had jumped out any further and bounced down the road behind me!
