who said cerb speedos over read? got stopped on m18 last night at 8.45pm 'doing an average of 98.5mph over .44 of a mile between to fixed points',no fixed penalty but a court summons instead!! the thing is i'm sure i wasn't going that quick. any advice? absolutely gutted............ mind you at least its reliable,my peugeot 405 diesel blew its head gasket for the second time in 4 months on saturday 110 miles from home!! what a weekend.

I've driven a couple of cerbies with GPS in them, both cars UNDER-READ by a couple of mph at 30mph (beware), then gradually towards 100mph they get very accurate (seemed to be bang on at 100 mph in both cars as far as I could tell) and held this up to 130 mph - above that I don't know cos my private test track became a bit bendy (!). Unless something goes horribly wrong over 130 mph it seems they are very accurate indeed.
