Done nothing technically but I have just ordered new inner wing, bulkhead, exhaust and starter motor shielding. After seeing Powers Tuscan 4.5ss dyno run called Dom to book in my rebuild & knock MBE (shielding will be fitted then)... very excited but more so as once thats done the spending can stop. I'll also be sending Tofts a set of callipers for painting. Oh and I passed my ARDS so she'll get spanked on return as well as testing session so I can confirm the fastest setting when using launch control.
I wonder how long the box/driveshafts will last.. Jhonno said:

Hmmm good question but like all powers build warranties it will cover any damaged caused by the build. So I fully appreciate tha there is wear and tear but if it pops one of the other parts in 10mins then there must be an issue? After hearing Aides experience of his new Quaife CR box I think that could be a nice addition.

Not today but last week, loaded it onto a flatbed to take for repair after some tw@t rear ended me in a traffic jam.
st. I know all to well what that's like.
On the upside, the maserati quattroporte courtesy car from Adrian at central was a nice bit of fun while worked on my car.
The rear screen popped out ok but the windscreen didn't come out in one piece, so they ordered a new one, but that had a chip in the corner so they have another one incoming. The screen is most of the cause of the delay. They have a guy there who has fitted cerb screens before so I'm confident they'll do a good job. They also removed the exhaust to get to the underside of the rear bumper.
The guy says it looks really nice now .
Considering the speed of the collision the repair cost is eye-watering. Glad I'm not paying...
Looking forward to getting her back as I've really missed her and the void left in the garage is gradually filling with junk.

Just phoned about my car. They are doing a proper job by the sound of it. Since there are no natural stop lines, they have painted most of the car, up to the front wings, including the roof. They took the doors off to paint them (due to the leading edge recesses by the wings).

Blummin' 'Eck - no wonder Insurance Company buildings are so big (and filled with top totty) The rear screen popped out ok but the windscreen didn't come out in one piece, so they ordered a new one, but that had a chip in the corner so they have another one incoming. (Couldn't you get a 4.7 rebuild in, under the wire ? )

Red Lion in Marsworth is the place from 11:30 onwards. 90 Vicarage Rd, Marsworth, Tring HP23 4LU
I however wont get there till about 1:30 so I hope there are some people left by the time I finish my taxi duties;-)
A nice Drive to meet up with the Bucks Crewe, lovely bunch. Then Gruffallo allowed me to take him for a spin in his 4.7AJP to fill it with fuel... Purpose was for me to feel the ride quality on his Nitrons with 'stiffer' Eibach Springs to see the difference in my Nitrons with Suplex springs.
He has a lovely smooth, pointy and very comfortable car so I may well go for that sling rate with nice shiny new Eibachs.
He also educated me further on other things so I may now not go for a CR box but instead the standard ratio quaife build mated to an adjusted diff.
Thanks Gruff... Oh and after seeing Doms latest build of the 4.5 (436bhp) Tuscan S6 tolerances are making me think, do I play it safe and go 4.5 tried and tested or push for the 4.7? Hmmm
edited to add I also had a proper noise test today and at start up and Idle I was 104db then at 3k rpm 114 so Tracks could be out of reach... but Gruffs words "that sounds bloody fantastic"

Gave him a stroke ahead of when it goes off for some 'work' at powers... However making a nice list of the running gear I will have available if anyone has any upcoming projects. Lets say things like a flywheel, clutch assy, starter motor and ECU (all standard S6) just letting you know early
