Hi Sticky,
The vents were the 1st thing to address on both mine and my dads Cerb. As well as releasing heat the serve front end downforce to as they are angled this is noticed in the couple of times I've driven and got home to realise I forgot to lock bonnet down (and it never lifted). Was inspired by the Aston dbs type and managed to get a couple made up.
Both sets were fitted by Adrian at Central TVR only issues they face (if you can call it that) is keeping them curved/flexed while bonding.

Decided it needed a bit of TLC in the cleaning/waxing dept. Bonnet badge had been bugging me since I bought
it as it looked scruffy. Was all set to paint it, but after removal, it seemed that someone had perhaps gone for the murdered
out look and thrown some black paint at it, which had settled in the grooves only. Quick wire brush, Autosol and
bling bling looking much better.
Dunno if anyone had ever really removed the badge before, but it did leave the perfect script in dirt...

Agreed Sir, the front needs the badge in my view, just finishes things off.
Was wondering why the nearside rear light cluster was suffering from
condensation.........until I put my finger onto it, damn thing near enough
landed on my lap! It really wasn't far off doing a Peter Pan all on its own.
Some of Mr Granville's finest (after a wee clean up) and all seems fine
again.

Got the buffer out yesterday, Poor boys swirl remover, Mguire Ultimate polish and Poor boys
Blackhole to seal in. Used the Poor boys polishing gun with a selection of gentle pads, then
finished by hand. Can't find any signs of paintwork/overspray so am assuming its mostly
original which for 19 years old isn't bad. Ignore the reflection of the telephone lines going
up the bonnet please....

Worked out a coil pack is dying yesterday after driving home in heavy rain from Wales last weekend.
I had a thought it may have been dodgy fuel, but a tankful of Vpower, adaptives reset, with 2 cylinders not firing meant there was a large amount of unburnt fuel in one side of the exhaust...

Who did you use?
TLC Retrims & Upholstery in Newark. It's a single man outfit who I found through Google as I was looking for someone local ideally. He's done a few Chimaeras before but never a Cerbera. He had the car for 2 months, I did say I wasn't in a hurry and that, and the fact I removed and refitted the interior myself, was reflected in the price which I think is pretty reasonable, hopefully I wont be contradicted! I sent the steering wheel off to The Trim Technician with some leather provided by TLC as Lou (TLC owner) "doesn't do steering wheels", and I'd had the leather surrounding the windscreen replaced by TLC last year when I had the screen out for a respray, so including those bits & pieces its probably cost about 4k in total for all new leather, new carpets bound in Alcantara and Alcantara headlining. I'm not sure he'll do another one for that price, I think it turned out to be more work than he was expecting, especially with all those quilted sections. Only when the interior was out and on the floor did I realise just how many bits make up a Cerb interior, its a wonder they all fit in such a small car!Very nice interior.
Well today and over the last couple of days I've had the cerbera 4.5SS up to Sheffield and back via Powers for a final tweak of my tcs and launch settings. Now factored in a wet weather mode so once a 6mph slip noticed in the rear it will kick in (handy for zero tolerance days).
Faultless driving... everything was effortless. and the pesky parasite no longer present (dodgy heater control box). Also had the rev buzzer shifter
D back as it was kicking in at 5.5krpm before so now it will only inform me at 6.8k (just enough time to shift up before the power tails off at 7k.
DRLs working and look great so just waiting on my rear tail/stop LED lights. Will report back as took me a while to find some which state sufficient contrast between tail and stop so other uses know when car braking.
Edited to add oh yeah since the engine work it was noted my raceproved cam cover gasket was knackered. Dom did a great job of sealing however tiny droplets of oil are hitting the exhaust and giving a scary looking smoke puff (usually only when on stationary decline) so if anyone has an RP gasket or even a later original cover they would like to get rid of please get in touch

Yesterday in fact took car to powers to have leaky RP cam cover changed back to original. Upon arrival a bigger problem was noticed by way of a Broken N/S wheel bearing which also decided to snap a wheel slip sensor 😩 2 hours later sorted
Today I’ll probably run down my original spare rad to Auto Rads in Luton for a recon.

Replaced the fuel filter, gearbox oil and engine oil along with the 4 oil hoses and PAS feed and return hoses.
Dry sump tank out for a clean...feed to pump connection was bloody tight...I had 18" stillies on it in the end, shock and unlock with a sharp hammer hit to try and break the connection. In the end had to hacksaw the nut to save any damage to the tank.
Scavenge to tank filter shot along with the gasket.

Had a light drive to fill up with V power ready for Sundays Silverstone session. Managed to do my own routing of dashcam cable up the a post (via door seal rubber and along the roof headline) would be far neater by a trimmer but it is nicely concealed to me... for now
Trying to work out what the intermittent squeak from the front is (not be brake dust as i hear it when stationary)... clutch??
Oh and an unlocked bonnet does come up at 125 even with chin spoiler facing correct way... so my friend says

Compliments to the guys at Powers (again)!
New brace bar fitted to sports exhaust meaning rather than moving independently of each other they are supported by each other an any movement is in tandem. Along with greasing nuts the squeak is gone.
Final adjustment of tcs settings and my rev warning buzz moved back to 7000rpm (from 6800)
Bonnet catch needs some filing but Wayne did an awesome job of setting it for now. So hopefully no lift after working itself free?
