Congratulations Twink!

Today I just got to tinkering with my control panel. 3 missile switches to go in with my 4.7 rebuild and and Knock MBE (not telling you what they will control YET wink

Massive thanks to pmessling who fabricated the engined turned panel (he had also made my dash and fan switch ones) I defy recommend his work.

On the way to The Garage Godalming to pick up fresh rear suspension with newly fitted bushes - but didn't make it because my Smart has just blown up - Doh!

I'm still not quite sure how it took over fours hours to assemble just one side...

I'm from Bishopstoke, near Southampton and, although I'm only a potential owner at this time, I would be up for a meet and chat, provided a non-TVR would be welcome.

Tonight I refitted the passenger side rear suspension. But I couldn't finish the job because I seem to have misplaced all the fuel pump fittings, very frustrating.

It really is worth getting the right bolts in the right places, I only switched one pair, but it was a PITA not least because everything is so much tighter now parts have been powder coated or painted.

Drove it home with a mot pass in the worse rain storm I've ever been in in the TVR. Even though I was going slowly, other cars were going much slower but the car felt planted. I think the two new F1 eagle tyres on the front helped.

Dropped the car off with Warren at Topcats, only to see four other Cerbs there. I meant to get a photo but got distracted.

I have working aircon smile

Just need to strip the wiper motor next as it's started runnign slowly - no not big fuse, then thats it. I can't think of anything else needs doing.

After seeing others engine bays mine was looking tatty so I have cleaned, spruced and repainted bits - looking much tidier. I've also cleaned and polished my rusty wheel nuts into bright shiney things again.
