Some lovely plates out there, and again, thank you for the warm welcome to the madhouse.
I may need to sell my plate for funds towards the clutch, slave cylinder, master cylinder, oil cooler, pipes, etc etc etc... So far I have driven 150 miles and it has cost roughly £3500. So thats £24 per mile give or take. Best £24 per mile I have ever spent.
These cars do not like sitting for too long at all.......just think, if you drive them regular you're actually saving money
(Ps. for non-owners looking at this I am carrying out a restoration to a hopefully very high standard. Please do not think this is what owning a Cerebra is normally like!!)

Ste vr Just to give you some hope, I owned my Cerb for ten years and in all that time it never once let me down. I did have a leak from the slave and replaced the clutch, but apart from normal servicing it was not an expensive car to run for a car of that type. As for this £3k pa you hear about, I never spent anything like that. I never had any electrical probs either, every light, switch, and button always worked. A truly great car!
Hi again,
Sorry for the long absence. Us techies are very busy over the festive period grabbing money for the upcoming restorations.
Probably should start a new thread but does anybody know where I can get a new battery plate? (the one under the battery) Mine is nearly dust.
On a side note...still absolutely bloody loving it.

Hi Malam.Don't be sad!. I should have updated this thread really. Since my initial purchase and consequent outlay she is now back at Ian at Torque RVT because as part of the restoration I have decided on fitting a nice little set of Nitrons She is also having new rear shoes and cables, air con recharge, rear heated screen repair etc etc..
She drives stunningly. Very strong engine and still tries to kill me on every journey. To be fair I am a st driver but she is in good hands.
If I ever get the time I can always pass by to say hello
