Darren,

Glad to see all is well and hope you got chance to open her up a bit before the ferry. What bit's did they "make" you buy at peninsula then? And, what did they say about the oil pressure?

The BM flew through the MOT apart from the plates. Which they let me off on anyway.

Why don't you join the Cerbera group on Yahoo?

Say Hi to Jackie.

Cheers, Steve

Never had any doubts on the BM!
The run to the ferry at weymouth was ace, 4.30 am, deserted A roads, the sun just rising & the cerb singing! Truly the stuff that great memories are made of.
I got the leven handbrake handle( rember the plastic button was sticking) & also picked up a pair of exhaust inserts( for when i'm seeing clients in the evening) & some steering rack spacers as the spiders rub on the wishbone on full lock. Total cost around £200.
Richard had a good look over the car & the engine & said all o.k, seems like a good 'un.
Nice bunch of guys.
I seem to have developed a banging noise from somewhere underneath the rear of the car, very noticeable when backing off the throttle - like something is moving forwards. also makes same noise after engaging reverse & wheels start moving. Any ideas? i'm thinking that there may be something come adrift down below.
I still haven't managed to drive it without laughing yet.
Darren.

Could be the sports pipes banging against something which seems a fairly common problem.
