Few guys on here with one, how does the car run with only a single lambda sensor and TPS?
Apart from having to have precise Throttle calibration, does it make any grand difference. In theory, it shouldn't as a properly set up engine should be running the same on both banks.
I'm in the process of remaking the wiring loom for the engine bay so that all of the fuel injectors can be run full/semi sequential at a later date if necessary, along with some much needed changes to make it somewhat safer IMO.
Also, does your ecu have knock sensor capability, I think its down to the programming of individual ECUs.

Emerald works well on mine. Performance wise I don't think it makes much difference if you are running a standard or tuned engine. The big advantage is its much more flexible and can be mapped far easier by a lot more people. You can even tweek the map yourself to solve small issues. The diagnostics are better and it's very easy to set up the data logger. Emerald can also supply off the shelf an adaptor loom so you can have the car up and running in minutes. By far the biggest advantage is you have access to Dave Walker at emerald who is possible one of the best mappers in the UK. Their prices are great and they always answer your technical questions. There are far more advanced systems on the market but a TVR road car in the real world does not need anything more expensive or complex than the emerald

Yes I contacted Karl a while ago about incorporating twin throttles and lambda tables and he said he would incorporate it into the next update as well as some traction control updates I enquired about for a customer. Not heard anything about it recently though, but he's a busy guy ! Maybe if a few more people express their interest it might speed it along a bit faster ?

I also spoke to Karl 3 weeks ago and this was his response:"We should have a customer ECU updated soon so feedback should be within a matter of weeks. The ECU can be updated remotely so there will be no need to return the unit to us for that. The update that enables dual lambda will be free of charge."

Cerb has no knock sensors and retro fit is none trivial. They need precise tuning for the acoustics of the head and block or they are next to useless.
I've got a stand alone knock sensor on my 200sx, it supposed to be tuned for that engine but the amount of false alarms it gives is a pain. When it's just an alarm it only a pain, but I wouldn't want something like that connected directly to my ECU.... Gassing Station | Cerbera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
