Wheel Hub Alternative part ??
Discussion
HI Folks,
I thought I had a reference to this previously but cant find it anywhere. Also cant see anything on alterntive parts list?
I belive the hubs are the same as on a Chrysler of some description? Could someone please give a model or part number for me to search?
Thanks for now

Do not buy the Jeep hubs, they don't fit I bought these, they look identical but the diameter on the interference fit to the hub is too big. I only discovered this when I tried to get the brake calliper on but it would not go. I ended up buying original parts from TVR PARTS
The original hubs are Jeep Grand Cherokee hubs. The Jeep hubs do fit if you buy the correct ones, its the cheap Chinese copies you may have tolerance problems with. I have been fitting Jeep hubs for years. The brake caliper fitting is nothing to do with the hub anyway! You are obviously correct about the cheap Chinese versions. I bought mine on line and they came in a proper looking box but could have been rip offs. If the wheel hub does not flat face on the triangular hub due to the centre not going far enough back due to the chamfer being wrong then the hub will sit out a little too far and the brake caliper (with new pads) won't go on - trust me I've done it - I guess the obvious question is where do you buy parts to avoid this issue?
So how would I ensure that I get the "correct" Jeep hubs then? Would you have a part number at all please?
I see the TVR dealers sell them, but at a cost. Just trying to keep the numbers down as I have to get them posted to New Zealand!
There is an Ebay trader selling hubs under the Cerbera listing and he is an American car parts dealer, but wont post to me in NZ. So was hoping to look for a US company as they tend to be cheap and not shy on posting overseas.
Incedentally, I still cant get the Alternative Parts sticky to work, or would have checked there myself.
I would need to get the right parts from the off, as returns is a nightmare with the distance to down here!
Cheers

No fitting problems whatsoever.
