Looks a bit like a 4.5 with 4.2 inlets graph to me which is what the car is of coufrse as you said earlier ..

compare to this graph below to see a similar effect though not as flat lined as yours, but similar.

If you're on a 4.2 chip (which you should be with 4.2 inlets and injectors) you can be sure the mapping isn't the issue .. the mapping from tvr on the 4.2 chip was very good.

Hi Guy's,

Thank you for all replies. Maybe I will put my car back on the dyno tomorrow. Why not since I doenst costs me money. The only thing I can think of that's since is had the ron 95 97 button is that is was pressed. The graph is indeed a bith strange. But 10 runs everytime gives the same result. So for sure it's the car. And mapping could be the case since it was not the stock chip. It was changed also with the button in mind. Will make a drive together and see if the ignition advance changes when pushing 95 and 97 button. Since I am not able to make any changes on the mbe ecu I allready bought a programmable ecu. The fuel isn't right to and the ignition timing while logging is also presenting strange numbers. Will share the results is anyone is interested but I think with the other ecu I will have my power. And indeed the 4.2 inlet aren't great at all. But I read that grinding them will help. The bore for the throttle valves leads to serious edges.

You should talk to Al Melling.
Anyway, your car shouldn’t have the switchable map button unless it’s a red rose or converted to red rose. Haven’t heard of a red rose with 4.2 inlets.
