I'd buy it for 10k if I were in the market. I quite like that colour, interior looks good, easy to swap the intake manifold for proper 4.5 (assuming you can find them). Full MOT is useful for the summer, and even has a Silverstone Performance exhaust (rather than the stupid sports tails). Would be good to see underneath first, but looks like a very promising project, assuming it only fetches £10k.

If you are interested in it, go in with eyes open, appreciate that you may have to spend money on it, get it for a good price and enjoy. If you want to buy something that is going to run flawlessly and need next to nothing spent on it, probably best stay away.

Depends on two factors virtually covered already:
1) do you do your spannering or 2) do you have the cash to pay someone else to do your spannering?
I do my own, as I have always done and some jobs are easy with others painfully not so. I have had a roller coaster of a ride so far as it is gorgeous to drive but a pain when something goes wrong as it could be big or really petty! It is not something you can just get in and drive everyday without expecting it it to be looked after in return!
Depends what you want. I suggest driving one first and having a good think about how you would cope if it is laid up for a week or so getting repairs done. Do you have the space etc? I definitely factored these in before purchase as it will break at some point - they all do! However, if you can deal with this then go for it. I have never looked forward to driving a car as much, even for a 5 minute trip to the local shops!

Cerberas are much more expensive to run than mass-produced cars long-term. The £2000/year over and above fuel etc is a good starting point.
As Gruffalo says, these cars all deserve good owners. Just don't stretch yourself for a £10k Cerbera and hope nothing more needs spent because Cerberas always want money spent.

This really is sound advice. I bought a sub £10k car knowing it would need money spent and a lot fixed. This worked for me. The only difference is, I had the luxury of a great and very honest private owner (and member on here) who made me aware of everything up front. I bought at a low price, with my eyes open and spent a fair bit of cash straight away getting it to a good point.Cerberas are much more expensive to run than mass-produced cars long-term. That said, it was nowhere near as bad as it could have been and for that I'm thankful.
It is now mechanically sound, and really good shape. Nearly at 75k miles with a 6k service at Str8Six coming up, so at that point we will re evaluate what and when need to be done to the engine, although it still runs perfectly and does not miss a beat. Chassis is strong but will at some point need a total overhaul, all of which is factored into the running/owning of these fantastic and characterful cars.
If you have the means, then you should do it. I'm 2 years in and have not regretted it, not even once.

There only appears to be 3 cars on sale, the rest of the auction is for books, militia, clocks/barometers, glassware, jewellery, antiques etc....might be a v good day to go.

Its my old car (sold last year), for £10k Id consider it a bargain. Was in a sad state but I spent "£$%ing 100's of hours getting it half decent again. Its no minter, but Id bet there are a lot worse out there.
Rebuilt 4.5 engine, new carpets, seats re-upholstered here and there, new AP clutch, chassis had body on POR15 treatment and was decent, GAZ golds, Raceproven clutch slave, silvertone full system, alloy clock surround from PMessling, leven bits and bobs, final suspension geo and engine setup was by Ian at Trackvroad, etc, etc, etc
