Hiya guys
Been a while since i posted on here so dont know if theres any old skool members still about

Had my Cerb laid up for last couple years now ''sitting in my garage at home unused'' anyway decided to dig the car out the other day and run her up only to find i couldnt get in the thing lol.
So after the normal procedure which we know about i got the driver door open and fired up the car with new battery installed and she fired up on the button which i did not expect so all good there : ).

But heres the issue........i can not lock, open or close any of the windows or doors (nothing is working) thought maybe a fuse so checked them and all good so issue seems to be the main control box situated in the boot but how on earth do you check these out or any common issues with them known about by you chaps in the know?
Real pain as i cant even close the door as window does not drop so cant give the car a run

Just going through the diagrams myself, so not looking at a module.

Diagram's showing Two connectors at the door/window control module.
A 17 way and a 9 way.

9 way appears to have Two wires going in to it.
Red 12v+
Black 0v-

Checking that voltage is present, would be my start point.

As a side note, the diagram shows a load of 0.5mm cables going in to it, all for powering the module and sending commands to the door locks and windows. Unless there's some relays located closer to the items, that cable gauge doesn't look great.

Bit of an edit. There is another couple of 9 way connectors, and the 1.5mm cables going to the windows, make more sense.

As you were on your Two wire connector though.

Have you tried the 'disconnect battery and relevant ECUs, go for a walk, come back and reconnect everything' method? *I understand that it's wise to have the blipper in hand as you reconnect the battery wink

Welcome back.

First thing I'd do
Open the bonnet, so you have access to the battery. Open the boot so you have access to open the drivers door.
Disconnect the door/window control box, wait 5 mins and reconnect.

Pic if you forget where the plugs go

Does the boot still open on the button? Is it just the doors?

If it does, your module is probably OK, if it doesn't check for 12v across the 2 wire plug on the back of the module. If there is 12v here, then it's a module fault.

Just repaired one of these for another fellow member, he had a similar problem and turned out to be a program chip that had been scrambled. You may not have the same issue, but if all of the fuses are ok, then it might have failed in a similar fashion.

Thanks to all for the helpful comments chaps : )
the pic helps as 3 of the plugs will go back in any order ''not one of trevors best bits of design'' lol

And yes there is no power to the boot either so having to open it the other way. Il get multimeter on it sometime next week and start checking some voltages but on first impressions i would have to agree that the control box is probably the culprit in which case if this proves correct then will need to get this repaired as i havent got a clue how to check the unit out myself

So if anyone ''tofts'' has another working unit or can repair mine (if proved to be faulty) then that would be good if you could drop me a message with price etc
