There is no Bluetooth functionality available on RS-AJP.
However, I believe RS-iJP does.

I presume you mean RS-iAJP which uses bluetooth via an RS232-BLE adapter for iOS devices. (Lite Version - Free but limited in functionality: https://itunes.apple.com/fr/app/rsiajp-lite/id1240... Full Version - https://itunes.apple.com/fr/app/rsiajp/id123472548...However, I believe RS-iJP does.

I don't suppose you want to develop an RS-GEMS do you Aide???
I'd love to Nick, really would - it's great fun developing these apps - however, with the kids and a new job I've little or no spare time these days.More than happy to advise and lend a hand to anyone that wants to take on the project.

Ah that's a shame but no problem.. I'd love to have a go but I'm a mechanical engineer by trade so not sure where to start! I have a good grasp of how the ECU works and can code in VBA and that's about it.. Are there any guides??More than happy to advise and lend a hand to anyone that wants to take on the project.

Any plans to make it free for the community?
I'd love to Aide, but besides the hundreds of hours of work that have gone into it, I've no steady income right now so every little helps. I've managed to get the price of the adapters down to £52.50 shipped to the UK tested and configured though.Wolvesboy said:
For people's info - app loads onto a Motorola Moto G2 phone but will not play. All the dials and pages there but no recognition from the MBE. The cable is good as works fine with my old Vista PC and EvoOllie's program.
When you plug in the USB to serial device, do you get a pop up saying the usb device is recognised? If so check the other thread. I had an issue with a samsung App update that decided to reroute all usb input to that App. I had to delete the app.Ah it was:
Noticed that samsung health came up as an option when the USB was plugged in, I've disabled this app and it all works again.
I used a rs232 9 pin plug and a otg plug to the Samsung. When I put the IGN of the Tuscan on the green lamp is blincking inside the Connector, when I open the RS-AJP app a second red lamp is blincking in the Connector. So something is happening inside. But no results.
Is the "AMAZON" cable different/ modified or is my Samsung Tablet/Mobile not the right one? If I use a USB end I have to modifie it to the Tablet. I lose the Quality I think

I tried using several cheap USB cables (and even checked they used the PL2303) before relenting and buying the expensive one specifiedNow works perfectly

Jan (Ochten),
I have the same experience as you with my Samsung A5. Suited for OTG. Working with e.g. mouse and OTG cable on the phone. The RS232 to USB cable is also doing fine with the laptop and the MBE program from Oliver. RS-AJP app is starting on the phone, but there's no input from the ECU with ignition on.
Who can help?
André

Ignition on, imobiliser off, ready to run or engine running?
This thread is from when the App was developed and is full of useful hints. On my Samsung S5 it stopped working after a recent update, which needed Samsung Health to be uninstalled.

Hi André
If you have another diagnostic software successfully connecting to your ECU then that's a good starting point.
So. If that is the case, you already have all the parts you need except:
1. An Android device that supports USB OTG.
2. And a USB OTG cable.
Traditionally, it all connects together like this:
ECU -> USB SERIAL CABLE -> PC -> Diagnostic Software
With my app:
ECU -> USB SERIAL CABLE -> USB OTG CABLE -> Android device -> RS-AJP
Happy to help until you get up and running
