For that price - is it worth enquiring over the 4.2 ones as well? It'll be worth having some new spares

If there is enough interest in 4.2 ones I would take a pair.

I totally lost here - I know I need them - I have a sp6, and an ultra late model 4.2 converted to a 4.7. But if I get 2 I should cover myself - let us know when they eventuate.

Cool everyone - just an update that I'm away with work this week so will only be checking in occasionally but here is the current break down of costs and shipping from the supplier (szcarsce)

szcarsce said:
DHL cost USD48/pcs, it will take 4-6 days to your address.
20+ of the Black TPS USD18.5 USD370
10 of the Grey TPS USD18.5 USD185

If use paypal and bank transfer, the cost USD40/pcs. USD 643= USD48+USD370+USD185+USD40
Western Union no cost, We only need receive Net USD 603= USD48+USD370+USD185
I think the numbers will be higher when I add up the sums again so I'll leave the group buy open until at least mid week when I am back and then place the final order

I would think that total cost will be:

(((total cost to supplier + total shipping to UK from supplier) / total ordered) * how many you ordered) + tiny bit of UK shipping at cost

I have a bulk stash of saved jiffy bags that I can use to send them out if everyone is happy with recycling at 0 cost

BTW Paul (ukkid) suggested the bulk buy first - I'm just helping out - so proper cudos to his idea! cool

Try to avoid American couriers

They are more likely to be subject to significant customs charges

Chinapost works best for me

Just be aware - I thought I'd found a supplier on Alibaba. They were very positive ("they are in our warehouse and ready to dispatch") only to get an email a couple of days later stating they no longer manufacture them and have no stock!. Theyre still advertising them !!! P*ss poor ffs
